The National Museum of Natural Sciences is an investigation center that is part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). All the access and use of the website mncn.csic.es/en and the subpages (onwards, the website) are Included in this Legal Terms and Conditions. This is in  acceptance of additional Terms and Conditions.

The CSIC reserves the rights to make, without advice, changes, updates, additions and ammeds the contents and design of this website. Because the update of this information is not automatic, you should review the validity and accuracy of the servicies and contents published in this website. Moreover, the legal terms and conditions in this legal advice may change. For that reason, you should visit this terms everytime you visit this website.

The CSIC is not responsible for the damages that the use of the tools and informations published in www.csic.es might cause. This informations are about the start, process and end of the administrative proccedures. That decisions must be in accordance with the centers, dependecies and institutions rules. The information and contents in this website can't be use in legal procedures with the Public Administration. Also, there isn't any responsability in the discrepance between the printed documents and the online information.

The automatic collect and processing of the personal data that the user agrees, explicit or implicit, by the use of this website has the goal to provide the request service and the following of the queries established. The legal base is the consent of the data subject and its necessity for the performance of the public functions and missions of the CSIC (data controller). The Organic Law 3/2018, december 5th, of Personal Data Protection and Digital Rights warranty (LOPDGDD), the Protection Data General Regulation  (RGPD) and the current law are the basics of this website. The CSIC compromises to be aware and apply all the regulations and actions based of the confidentiality. Also, there is the National Security Scheme about the edit, lost, treatment and unauthorized access access.

The user can exercise their access, edit, cancelation, opposition, and limitation rights at all times if they send an addressing in writing to the General Secretary of the CSIC (117th Serrano Street, 28006, Madrid, Spain). This writting must be send with a copy of the National Identification Document (DNI). Also, they can use the Electronic Registry of the CSIC that is avariable in its Electronic Portal. The CSIC reserves the right to edit or ammend this Privacy Policy to the new legal and jurisprudence regulations and interpretations of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. In this case, the CSIC will announce this changes with enough previous time and, if it is r, required he acceptance of they.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

The applicable law and jurisdiction, in case of any conflict of interpretation of the Legal Terms and Conditions and any other case with the contents and services of this website, is the Spanish law.

For the mediation of any conflict about the use of the information, services and the Legal Terms and Conditions of this webpage could make, the CSIC and the user agrees to be subject to the Courts and Tribunals of the user domicile, as long as there are in the Spanish territory.
